How quotations are structured
Fixed-price quotations are issued when drawings and scope are sufficiently defined — typically at construction issue or when tender documentation is complete. Where documentation is preliminary, we may offer a rate-based estimate with stated assumptions and exclusions, converting to fixed price once revisions stabilise. Variations arising from drawing changes, access delays outside our control, or additional inspection events are assessed separately and quoted before execution.
Programme allowances in our quotations reflect realistic productivity for the specified access and fixing complexity. We do not understate duration to win work — that approach creates conflict at pour time when steel is incomplete.
